SAM HALLAM IS FREED!!!! Sam Hallam who was jailed in 2004 had his conviction quashed at the Court of Appeal this week. 'Someone to Blame' (which was produced in March at The Kings Head) was the verbatim play of Sam's story. Debra was proud and honoured to play Wendy - Sam's mum.

Debra is just back from Hannover where she was filming VOYAGE' playing a depressed mother who commits suicide. Produced by Artwalker Films Ltd and directed by Hong Kong director, Scud, this film will be entered into Cannes 2013.

Past Productions
- Debra has just played Wendy Cohen, mother of Sam Hallam, in the verbatim theatre production 'Someone to Blame'. Directed by David Mercatali (Moonfleece, Tender Napalm), this play was produced by The Kings Head, Islington.
- Debra recently played Mrs Leck in the final episode of the BBC Series Call The Midwife.

- Debra recently appeared in the wonderful Christmas film 'Fast Freddie, The Widow & Me'. playing Susie Copeland. Starring Laurence Fox, Sarah Smart, Tamsin Outhwaite and Jack McMullen and directed by David Richards.
- JUNKHEARTS was shown at the London Film Festival at the BFI, in October 2010, where director Tinge Krishnan and newcomer Candese Reid were both nominated for awards!! JUNKHEARTS was released on DVD on 23rd January 2012.- In April 2011 Debra played Mrs Macory, the wedding dress shop owner, in EASTENDERS as part of the Tanya/Greg wedding storyline.
- In April 2011 Debra reprised the role of HER in 'Sweet Engineering of the Lucid Mind' by Mitch Feral. This play won The Offcut Festival 2010. See reviews/blogs:
